A. Walking tour around a local Tibetan village

The tour to Drubshi village which takes an hour by car from Lhasa. Customize your tour by adding a visit to a local Tibetan village, Drubshi, located east of Lhasa city and south of Gaden Monastery at 3,800m. The Drubshi village has a rich history of more than 700 years, dating back to when Tsongkapa founded Gaden monastery. This beautiful village provides an opportunity to immerse yourself in Tibetan culture, as well as enjoy a variety of activities such as trekking and horse-back riding. You can have dinner with farmer, drink home-make barley beer, butter tea and so on. This is the only way to experience the life of Tibetan.

B. Cultural Tour to Ganden monastery with trekking from Ganden to Drubshi Village


In the morning we drive to Ganden monastery which is located the east of Lhasa and it has 70km from Lhasa. It takes one and half hour by car. The monastery was founded in 1409 by Tsongkhapa, who was the revered reformer of the Gelugpa order, the monastery was the first Gelugpa monastery and it has been the main seat of this major Buddhist order ever since. If you are running out of time, Ganden monastery probably be the best choice to visit from Lhasa in short time. You climb the Ngarong Lhaka, south of Ganden, there are superb views over strands of the braided Kyi-chu Valley along the way and there are usually large numbers of pilgrim offering prayers flag, rubbing holy rocks and prostrating themselves along the path. Around 2pm, starts the four hours trekking from Genden to Dubshi Village.

If you chose this trekking then you need to stay overnight in local farmer’s house, I am sure you get lost of new experiences about the life of Tibetan farmer.

C. Cultural Tour to Tidom Nunnery along with medicinal Hot spring.

The trip Takes estimate four hours from Lhasa, It has a great location in a narrow gorge at the confluence of two streams. The small nunnery has strong connections to Yeshe Tsogyel, the wife of (Guru Rinpoche) Padmasambhava. The kandor-la, the resident spiritual leader of the Nunnery, is considered a reincarnation of Yeshe Tsogyel. The Hot springs are delightful and are in a mercifully concrete-free zone. There are separated men’s and women’s bathrooms. You are requested to bring towel and flip-flops. It’s worth spending at least one night in Tidom. If you want to do any hiking around it, it can be two-or three-days trip. The famous meditation cave of Yeshe Tsogyel is accessible only by hiking and the trail can be hard to find, thus it is good idea to follow guides

D. Photographic Tour to Namtso Lake and Yangba Chen hot-spring

Around four to five in the morning, drive to Namtso Lake, overnight in guesthouse which is near the Namtso Lake, the Namtso Lake is located Norths of Lhasa city, and altitude of (4700m), it is one of the four biggest Holy lakes in Tibet, It is 70km long and 30km wide next moring we drive back to Lhasa via Yangba Chen hot-spring. The landscape is dominated by the snow peak of Nyenchen Thangla to the south west of the Lake. Tashi Do hermitage stands on a promontory with more than 50 small caves including some small chapels, pilgrims need to walk an hour to Tashi Do hermitage.
